There were several versions to his escape. People believed that he was around Vijayawada city. But, he had reached Hyderabad and even got into the NIMS from the backdoor.
Though the police have put up several check points all along Vijayawada-Hyderabad and Vijayawada-Visakhpatnam route, the MP was able to manage to enter the State capital.
It is said that the MP had hired a autorickshaw to reach the NIMS. He had reportedly ran into the hospital without being caught by the police. After entering into the hospital, he is now being treated in the ICU of the NIMS.
But, the big question is that how did he manage to travel to Hyderabad escaping from the police. Where have the supporters, particularly the former corporator, P Gowtham Reddy, gone.
Meanwhile, the supporters of Lagadapati from Vijayawada have started moving towards Hyderabad in large numbers. It is expected that over 3,000 to 4,000 supporters are expected to reach NIMS by Monday evening.From yesterday he was missing and hiding. All the roads leading to Hyderabad were blocked. All the vehicles were frisked thoroughly.
But Lagadapti managed to reach NIMS hospital as expected thereby proving his successful tactics. Even at the NIMS police were checking at the gates of NIMS. He slipped in to NIMS wearing a Windcheater. When police tried to stop him, he ran in to the ward and he was rushed through stretcher.
Some of the TV channel crew were trying to record the visuals were pushed out by the doctors and security staff of the NIMS. At the same time , some Pro Telangana people were also started raising slogans’ against Lagadapati and Samaikya Andhra.
Police had handed over a revolver from a person who is trying to sneak in to NIMS moved him to the custody.
